This position offers a consistent part‑time schedule with weekday evening shifts and rotating weekend hours, and includes a competitive hourly wage of $17.47.
What You'll Do
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Support skill‑building goals related to communication, independence, and community participation.
- Accompany clients to appointments, recreational outings, and vocational programs using your own reliable transportation.
- Document observations, progress notes, and incidents accurately in accordance with Sevita’s policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, families, and guardians to ensure cohesive care plans.
- Maintain a safe, respectful environment that promotes dignity and well‑being.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in caregiving or human services is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least one year with a clean driving record that satisfies Sevita’s insurability standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a sincere desire to help others thrive.
- Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing needs, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Willingness to work the scheduled Monday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift and every other Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic record keeping.
