Caregiver

About the Role

As a Caregiver with Sevita, you'll provide essential support that enables people in our community to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. This is meaningful work that goes beyond daily care—you'll help build the relationships and trust that form the foundation of genuine community inclusion.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities including personal care, grooming, meals, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, social activities, and personal goal achievement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and the care team about individual needs and progress
• Respond with patience and professionalism to the unique needs of each person you support
• Help foster independence and respect for individual preferences and choices

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain consistent attendance
• Physical capability to assist with mobility and daily support tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, patience, and genuine commitment to person-centered care
• Willingness to pass a background screening
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team
