Account Manager- Commercial Insurance

About the Role

As an Account Manager in our Commercial Insurance division, you'll be the primary contact for a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients. You'll manage ongoing client relationships, identify coverage gaps, process policy renewals, and help clients navigate their insurance needs as their businesses grow. This is a full-time position based in our Palm Bay office, where you'll work closely with our team to deliver personalized service and build lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Service and grow a dedicated book of commercial insurance clients
• Review existing policies and recommend coverage improvements or cost-saving opportunities
• Process renewals, endorsements, and policy changes with accuracy and attention to detail
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve coverage or billing questions promptly
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and claims support
• Meet with clients to understand their business risks and insurance objectives
• Track renewal dates, policy expirations, and client communications using our management systems
• Contribute to team goals and support office operations as needed

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of commercial insurance experience (P&C, general liability, workers' compensation preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain insurance concepts clearly
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client accounts
• Proficiency with insurance management software and standard office applications
• Valid Florida insurance license or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent customer service
