Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our facilities operations. You'll perform preventive maintenance, respond to repair requests, and oversee the day-to-day upkeep of our residential properties. Your work directly impacts the safety and quality of life for our residents and the experience of our staff.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, troubleshooting issues and completing repairs efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used
• Ensure all facilities meet safety codes and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs beyond in-house capabilities
• Support grounds maintenance, landscaping, and exterior facility upkeep
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or vocational training preferred
• Proven experience in residential or facilities maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building systems
• Ability to lift, carry, and work in various physical positions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
