We Care Daily Clinics is hiring a full-time Dispensary Nurse (LPN) for a float pool position spanning Pierce and King County clinics. What This Role Involves

As a Dispensary Nurse in our float pool, you'll work across multiple We Care Daily Clinics locations, bringing expertise and continuity to patients in Pierce and King County. You'll manage medication administration, conduct clinical assessments, and oversee pharmacy operations while maintaining full compliance with DEA, state health department, and licensing requirements. This LPN role blends clinical care delivery with operational pharmacy responsibility, offering the variety and impact that comes with float pool nursing in community health.

Your Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed medications to patients per clinical guidelines; track and reconcile all inventory used during each shift
  • Administer and interpret tuberculosis screening tests (TB tests), document findings, and coordinate chest x-ray referrals as clinically indicated
  • Record all patient encounters and clinical notes accurately in our electronic medical record system, following established standards
  • Monitor and maintain medication supplies; notify the clinical supervisor when reordering is needed
  • Collaborate with the Float Pool Team Lead and clinic staff to deliver seamless patient care across assignments
  • Safeguard all medications, patient records, and regulatory documentation according to federal and state requirements
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions to maintain knowledge of clinic protocols and professional development

What We're Looking For

  • Active Washington State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or higher credential (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within your first three months
  • At least one year of hands-on patient care experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • Comfortable working with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities; capacity to engage respectfully with patients and staff from all backgrounds
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic schedules and work collaboratively in varied clinic environments
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; capability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening and drug testing
  • Preferred: prior experience in an opioid treatment program (OTP), pharmacy operations, or behavioral health nursing
