CNET Global Solutions, INC is hiring a Radio Engineer to join our team at our Dimondale office in Eaton County, Michigan. This is a full-time position focused on radio systems design, implementation, and support for professional communications networks.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Radio Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain professional-grade radio communication systems. You'll work with cutting-edge P25 digital radio platforms and ensure our clients have reliable, compliant communications infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on troubleshooting to keep critical systems operating at peak performance.
What You'll Do
- Program, configure, and deploy P25 digital radio systems on Motorola and Kenwood platforms
- Design radio frequency layouts and conduct site surveys for optimal coverage
- Perform system testing, diagnostics, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across radio networks
- Collaborate with clients to understand communication needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Document system configurations and maintain technical specifications
- Support ongoing maintenance and system upgrades for existing installations
What We're Looking For
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience as a Radio Technician or Communications Technician
- At least two years of direct experience programming P25 digital radio systems, specifically with Motorola and Kenwood equipment
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with radio frequency concepts and spectrum management
- Ability to read technical documentation and work independently on complex projects
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
