Residential Custom Home Builder is hiring a Revit Specialist Architectural Drafter for our office in Tampa Palms, Hillsborough County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop detailed architectural drawings and models for high-end custom residential projects across the Tampa Bay region.
About the Role
As a Revit Specialist Architectural Drafter, you'll be the technical link between architectural vision and construction reality. Your expertise in Revit and architectural drawing standards will ensure every custom home project reflects our clients' unique visions while meeting all structural and design requirements.
What You'll Do
- Create comprehensive architectural drawings and models in Revit for residential custom home projects
- Develop construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail sheets
- Collaborate with architects and designers to refine designs and address technical details
- Prepare drawing sets that coordinate with engineering and contractor specifications
- Ensure all drawings comply with building codes and local regulations for Hillsborough County and the Tampa Bay area
- Support the design team through the full project lifecycle from concept through construction administration
- Maintain organized project files and documentation standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven expertise using Revit for architectural design and documentation
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes
- Experience with architectural drawing standards and conventions
- Ability to translate design concepts into detailed, accurate technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Proficiency with CAD and design software; AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in architecture, architectural technology, or related field
