The Opportunity

Remilia operates at the intersection of contemporary art, fashion design, and emerging technology, with an international presence connecting Orange County to creative hubs across East Asia. This role positions you at the center of operations for a Creative Director who shapes avant-garde projects and maintains high-level partnerships across galleries, cultural institutions, and design collaborators. You'll manage the complexity of multi-timezone operations, international travel, and diverse creative initiatives while upholding the refined standards and aesthetic precision that define our studio practice.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative contact and communication hub for the Creative Director across email, calendar, and messaging platforms
  • Coordinate scheduling across multiple time zones, managing meetings, cultural events, and executive travel to East Asia and domestic locations
  • Prepare comprehensive meeting agendas, briefing materials, and project documentation to support decision-making
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with artists, cultural partners, galleries, institutions, and industry collaborators
  • Provide remote administrative coordination during the Creative Director's regular business travel and oversee continuity in their absence
  • Represent Remilia at cultural events, industry functions, and professional gatherings with appropriate poise and sophistication
  • Oversee progress tracking across concurrent creative projects including fashion releases, art installations, film production, and music initiatives
  • Serve as liaison between leadership and internal teams, ensuring alignment and efficient information flow
  • Manage personal calendar, household coordination, and comprehensive travel arrangements for both domestic and international itineraries
  • Support logistics for events, venue coordination, and cultural partnerships from planning through execution

What You Bring

  • Minimum five years of executive or senior administrative experience, ideally within arts organizations, design studios, galleries, museums, or cultural foundations
  • Demonstrated track record managing leadership in professional environments with exacting standards for presentation, communication, and protocol
  • Native or near-native fluency in English; fluency in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, or Japanese is highly valued
  • Polished written communication skills and ability to compose professional correspondence and creative briefs on behalf of leadership
  • Proficiency with project management platforms, scheduling tools, and familiarity with creative industry workflows and collaboration practices
  • Sophisticated aesthetic sensibility aligned with experimental fashion and contemporary art practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous task management, and reliable follow-through on competing priorities
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset; you anticipate obstacles and devise solutions before issues escalate
  • Strong interpersonal acumen with sensitivity to social context, professional dynamics, and relationship management
