Operations Manager

Join Remilia Corporation as an Operations Manager and become the operational foundation of a groundbreaking arts and culture enterprise. Based in Irvine, Orange County, you'll report directly to our Chief Business Officer and manage the business infrastructure that enables our creative mission.

Role Overview

This is a full-time position where you'll oversee core operational functions across finance, human resources, legal coordination, and office management. You'll work independently to solve problems, streamline processes, and ensure our organization runs with precision—creating space for our creative teams to do their best work. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong judgment, and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise financial administration: liaising with our external bookkeeper, processing expenses and documentation, managing vendor payments, and supporting budget tracking across departments
• Lead people operations: coordinate hiring and departure workflows, maintain employment records, support benefits and policy administration, and handle all team HR-related needs
• Manage contracts: review agreements for terms and completeness, coordinate execution workflows, maintain a centralized contract repository, and flag issues requiring leadership or legal input
• Direct office and logistics: oversee supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, facilities, event coordination, and travel planning to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 4–6 years in operations, office management, business administration, or people operations; background in startups or creative organizations preferred
• Core Competencies: Financial acumen with budgeting and expense management; grounding in HR practices and employment law; ability to review contracts analytically; proficiency with Google Workspace and standard business software
• Qualities: Self-directed with excellent judgment; detail-oriented and organized; proactive problem-solver; discreet and professional with sensitive information; adaptable and service-minded; culturally aligned with our distinctive creative practice
• Bonus: Background in design, fashion, media, or cultural sectors; experience scaling startup operations
