Studio Coordinator / Manager

Remilia, a multidisciplinary creative studio and design agency with locations in California and Seoul, seeks an experienced Studio Coordinator and Manager for our Irvine, Orange County headquarters. This is a full-time, in-person role offering the rare opportunity to operate at the center of a fast-moving creative practice—working directly alongside leadership and embedded across all operations, projects, and collaborations.

Role Overview

You'll serve as an essential connective layer in a creative organization that spans fashion, conceptual campaigns, live activations, events, and cultural initiatives. Working full-time alongside the principal leadership team, you'll be present in every strategy session, studio session, call, and site visit. Your work will anchor the flow of information, insight, and execution across internal teams, a global network of artists and designers, and clients who range from emerging experimentalists to established cultural collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and document all principal leadership activities—meetings, creative sessions, client calls, and studio time—translating observations into clear, actionable notes
• Author communications on behalf of leadership with precision and appropriate tone: internal directives, client correspondence, partner outreach, and artist coordination
• Maintain a real-time grasp of all active projects across mediums, collaborators, and locations; identify bottlenecks and communicate status proactively
• Coordinate across the California studio team and Seoul operations, managing time zones and communication flow with equal fluency
• Connect leadership, team members, external collaborators, and artist partners through efficient information architecture

Who We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a creative setting: design studio, creative agency, production house, gallery, publication, or cultural brand
• Exceptional written communication—clear, concise, adaptable to audience and context, with zero tolerance for vagueness
• Naturally systematic; able to juggle multiple concurrent projects and teams without losing track
• Meticulous note-taker with ability to extract signal from dense, creative conversations
• Genuine emotional intelligence; you read energy in a room and adjust your approach accordingly
• Ease around strong creative personalities, experimental thinkers, and underground cultural practitioners
• Authentic engagement with contemporary art, fashion, music, and design—you're genuinely attuned to what's emerging in these spaces
• Experience or cultural familiarity with East Asian business practices; proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin is a plus
• Willingness to flex around time zones and project urgency
