US Medical Head, Rare Blood Disorders

Sanofi Group is seeking an accomplished medical affairs leader to take on the role of US Medical Head, Rare Blood Disorders, based in Harvard Square, Middlesex County. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to shape the medical strategy behind life-changing therapies for patients facing rare hematologic conditions.

About the Role

As US Medical Head, Rare Blood Disorders, you will join Sanofi Group's Specialty Care organization, where teams work to redefine treatment for individuals living with immune disorders, rare diseases, oncologic conditions, and neurological challenges. In this leadership position, you will help advance pioneering therapies that offer renewed hope to patient populations with significant unmet medical needs, contributing as a key member of the Rare Blood Disorders medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and execute the US medical affairs strategy for the Rare Blood Disorders portfolio.
• Serve as a core leader within the Rare Blood Disorders medical organization, guiding scientific and clinical priorities.
• Champion the safe, evidence-based, and appropriate use of breakthrough treatments for patients with rare hematologic conditions.
• Foster meaningful engagement with the medical and scientific community to support improved patient outcomes.
• Collaborate across functions within Specialty Care to align medical insights with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in medical affairs leadership, ideally within rare diseases, hematology, or specialty therapeutic areas.
• Strong scientific and clinical acumen relevant to rare blood disorders and complex patient populations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, set strategic direction, and influence cross-functional partners.
• Commitment to advancing care for patients with high unmet medical needs.
