About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager in our US Rare Disease division, you'll manage a territory covering the Atlanta and Central Georgia area, driving business growth while advancing better outcomes for patients with xLSD and related rare genetic disorders. This position combines sales leadership with deep healthcare stakeholder engagement, requiring both clinical acumen and business development expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute account strategies that expand market access and patient treatment initiation across hospital systems, specialty clinics, and payer organizations
  • Navigate complex formulary processes to secure coverage and reimbursement support for rare disease therapies
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, specialty pharmacies, patient advocacy groups, and key decision-makers in the rare disease ecosystem
  • Communicate clinical evidence and treatment value to healthcare providers and insurance partners
  • Track market performance, manage pipeline opportunities, and report on territory progress
  • Serve as a trusted resource for patient access programs and support services

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, rare disease, or complex healthcare markets
  • Strong understanding of formulary processes, payer dynamics, and healthcare provider decision-making
  • Ability to engage effectively with clinical and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-directed, strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute business plans independently
  • Willingness to travel within the Central Georgia territory as needed
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
