What You'll Do
- Lead tax advisory engagements focused on planning, strategy, and compliance for insurance industry clients
- Develop tax positions and solutions to help clients manage complex tax regulations in insurance
- Direct tax compliance projects, including return preparation, filing oversight, and regulatory reporting
- Cultivate client relationships through strategic tax guidance and trusted advisory services
- Mentor and develop junior tax professionals on technical expertise and client engagement
- Monitor tax law and insurance industry changes to inform client strategies
- Contribute to business growth and proposal development within the Insurance Tax practice
What We're Looking For
- Substantial professional experience in tax advisory, accounting, or insurance tax operations
- Deep technical knowledge of federal and state tax law and compliance requirements
- Experience or strong understanding of insurance industry tax considerations
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to advise on complex tax matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and lead client relationships independently
- Availability to travel up to 20% for client service
