PWC is seeking a Senior Associate – Snowflake Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics Advisory team at our Bengaluru Millenia office. In this full-time role, you will architect, develop, and optimise enterprise-scale data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform.

Role Overview

As a Senior Associate, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated data engineering solutions for PWC's advisory clients. You will apply deep expertise in Snowflake architecture to solve complex data challenges, guide junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across data pipeline development, warehouse optimisation, and analytics infrastructure.

Core Duties

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL solutions using Snowflake
• Architect enterprise data warehouse solutions that meet client requirements and performance standards
• Lead technical implementation of data and analytics projects from design through production deployment
• Optimise Snowflake configurations, query performance, and data warehouse efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clients, architects, and analytics professionals
• Mentor and support junior data engineering team members
• Document technical designs, implementations, and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot data engineering challenges and implement robust solutions

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency with Snowflake data platform and cloud data warehouse concepts
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write optimised queries
• Experience with data modelling, ETL design, and data pipeline development
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementation projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment is advantageous
