The Opportunity

We're seeking a technically accomplished Snowflake specialist to drive advanced data platform initiatives within our Data and Analytics Advisory practice. You'll partner with Fortune 500 enterprises to design scalable data ecosystems, optimise cloud data warehousing performance, and unlock actionable insights from massive datasets. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and client-facing strategy—you'll translate business challenges into elegant Snowflake architectures while mentoring junior engineers and raising standards across engagement teams.

Core Duties

• Design, architect, and deploy enterprise-grade Snowflake solutions aligned with client objectives and data governance frameworks
• Lead end-to-end data engineering projects, from requirements gathering through production optimisation and ongoing support
• Build high-performance data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data integration solutions using Snowflake's native and third-party tools
• Collaborate with data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver insights-driven outcomes
• Optimise query performance, manage data infrastructure costs, and establish best practices for data quality and security
• Mentor and guide mid-level engineers, conduct technical reviews, and contribute to advisory thought leadership
• Stay current with Snowflake product innovations and cloud data platform trends to keep clients competitive

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise with Snowflake platform, including architecture, administration, and optimisation
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and pipeline development
• Strong hands-on experience designing and building data warehouses or data lakes on modern cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, performance tuning, and cost management
• Experience translating client business requirements into technical specifications and delivering complex projects
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
