What This Role Involves

As a Warehouse Clerk on the 2nd shift, you'll be the backbone of our distribution operations, handling the receipt, processing, and shipment of dry goods inventory. You'll work alongside experienced team members to ensure products move smoothly from receiving through to customer fulfillment, maintaining accuracy and safety standards throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of dry goods merchandise, documenting items accurately in our warehouse management system
• Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications, ensuring correct product selection and quantity verification
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts with appropriate certification
• Stock and organize inventory shelves and storage areas to maximize space efficiency and product accessibility
• Conduct quality checks throughout the shift to identify and report damaged or defective merchandise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent, or demonstrated ability to learn warehouse operations
• Physical capability to regularly lift, carry, and stack merchandise up to 50+ pounds
• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing inventory and fulfilling orders
• Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule consistently and reliably
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification through our training program
• Strong work ethic, teamwork mentality, and positive attitude toward continuous improvement
• Basic computer skills to operate warehouse management software and systems
