PWC is seeking a Senior Associate to lead data engineering initiatives as a Snowflake Senior Data Engineer within our Data and Analytics Advisory practice, based in Bengaluru Millenia. This full-time role offers the opportunity to design, optimise, and deploy cloud data solutions for enterprise clients across diverse industries.

The Opportunity

As a Snowflake Senior Data Engineer, you will partner with PWC's leading advisory teams to architect scalable data platforms that drive measurable business impact. You'll take ownership of complex data engineering projects, mentoring junior team members whilst working directly with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a position for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and wants to influence the strategic direction of data initiatives at the enterprise level. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple industries and gain exposure to diverse technology stacks and business challenges.

Core Duties

• Design, build, and optimise Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes for enterprise clients
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions using industry best practices
• Lead data architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to delivery teams
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
• Troubleshoot complex data challenges and optimise pipeline performance
• Stay current with Snowflake features and cloud data engineering trends

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in Snowflake platform architecture, configuration, and best practices
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages relevant to data engineering
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data pipeline technologies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
