The Opportunity
As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Russell in Seattle, you'll be a strategic executive advisor embedded within key business lines. This full-time role requires someone who can bridge HR strategy with operational business needs, champion talent development, and foster a high-performing workplace culture. You'll partner directly with leadership to shape workforce strategy, solve complex people challenges, and ensure Russell's continued success in a competitive market.
Core Duties
- Provide strategic human resources counsel to business unit leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people-related initiatives
- Lead employee relations efforts, including coaching management teams, addressing performance concerns, and fostering inclusive workplace practices
- Partner on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to build and retain top talent
- Support compensation, benefits, and total rewards planning aligned with business objectives
- Drive compliance with employment law, workplace policies, and HR best practices
- Contribute to the development and execution of learning and organizational development programs
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic role
- Proven ability to influence at the executive level and partner across multiple business functions
- Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with HRIS systems, data analytics, and HR metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (SPHR or CIPHR certification preferred)
