Tax Senior Associate 1, International Tax

Join RSM as a Tax Senior Associate 1 specializing in International Tax at our Gurugram office. In this full-time position, you'll support multinational clients navigating complex cross-border tax planning, compliance, and advisory matters while developing expertise in global tax regulations and structures.

What This Role Involves

As a Tax Senior Associate 1 in International Tax, you'll bridge the gap between junior-level and management responsibilities. You'll work with clients across multiple jurisdictions, handling tax research, documentation, and advisory support. This role offers hands-on exposure to international tax strategy, transfer pricing, treaty analysis, and regulatory compliance—ideal for building specialized knowledge in a dynamic, globally connected tax practice.

Core Duties

• Prepare and review international tax compliance documentation for multinational corporations
• Support tax planning initiatives on cross-border transactions, reorganizations, and foreign investments
• Conduct tax research on transfer pricing policies, double taxation treaties, and country-specific regulations
• Assist in developing tax positions and memoranda addressing complex international scenarios
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams on client deliverables
• Maintain current knowledge of evolving international tax rules and regulatory developments
• Contribute to proposal development and client relationship management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, or related discipline
• 2–4 years of tax experience, including international tax or transfer pricing work
• Strong understanding of Indian tax law and global tax concepts
• Proficiency in tax research tools and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
• Professional tax qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) or active pursuit thereof preferred
