About This Position

As a Field Support Technician with Aciedge near Fort Hood, TX, you will deliver independent field-level troubleshooting, installation, and upkeep for C5ISR equipment while contributing to New Equipment Training (NET) efforts that back PM Tactical Radio (PM TR). This full-time position places you at the center of ensuring tactical communications remain mission-ready, supporting broader Army priorities through careful analysis, testing, and vendor coordination. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver communications engineering insight to PEO C3T as it develops technical and policy answers for enterprise-wide and local C4ISR issues facing current and future Army forces.
• Conduct analysis, assessments, and formal test evaluations of promising high-payoff communications options that align with the PEO C3T global warfighter C4ISR support strategy.
• Carry out trade-off studies for system-level design choices and material purchases of tactical communication systems, then implement and validate the chosen methods and equipment.
• Watch and resolve sophisticated hardware and software issues that arise inside technical control facilities.
• Coordinate with vendor service teams so that problems escalate properly during outages or periods of reduced system performance.
• Perform quality-assurance reviews and evaluations of both newly introduced and existing software products.
