Tax Supervisor 1, International Tax

RSM is seeking a dedicated Tax Supervisor 1, International Tax professional to join our Gurugram office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead international tax compliance and strategy initiatives whilst building expertise in cross-border taxation frameworks.

What This Role Involves

As a Tax Supervisor specialising in international tax, you'll oversee the delivery of complex multinational tax compliance and advisory services for our clients. You'll take ownership of international tax projects, manage junior team members, and ensure all work meets RSM's quality and regulatory standards. This role bridges the gap between technical tax expertise and client relationship management, allowing you to develop your leadership capabilities whilst deepening your knowledge of transfer pricing, tax treaty optimisation, and international compliance requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise international tax compliance projects, including preparation of transfer pricing documentation and multinational tax returns
• Review and quality-assure tax work completed by junior staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Advise clients on international tax planning strategies, cross-border structuring, and tax treaty implications
• Manage client relationships, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure project delivery on time and on budget
• Stay current with evolving international tax regulations, including BEPS initiatives, and integrate them into client advice
• Contribute to proposal development and business development activities within the international tax practice

Who We're Looking For

• Professional qualification in taxation or accounting (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
• 3+ years' experience in international tax, transfer pricing, or multinational tax compliance
• Strong command of Indian tax law and familiarity with OECD transfer pricing guidelines
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead team members
• Excellent communication skills and comfort liaising with C-suite clients and regulatory authorities
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to professional development
