About the Role

As a Pilates Instructor at Equinox in Glendale, you'll teach dynamic pilates classes to our diverse membership base. This is a part-time position offering flexibility while allowing you to grow as an instructor within a world-class fitness community. You'll work in a state-of-the-art studio setting, where quality and member experience are paramount. Whether you're an established instructor or looking to expand your teaching repertoire, this role welcomes instructors at different career stages to join our team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Teach engaging pilates classes across various levels—from foundational to advanced—in our Glendale facility
• Demonstrate proper form and technique, ensuring members perform movements safely and effectively
• Provide personalized modifications and progressions based on individual member needs and fitness abilities
• Build relationships with class participants and create a welcoming, motivating studio environment
• Maintain and inspect pilates equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition
• Arrive early to set up the studio space and stay after class to reset for the next session
• Support the broader studio team in delivering exceptional member experiences

What You Bring

• Current pilates certification from a recognized organization (Pilates Method Alliance, NASM-PES, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated teaching experience leading group fitness or pilates classes
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, body mechanics, and movement principles
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Ability to cue effectively and modify exercises for diverse fitness levels
• Professional demeanor and genuine passion for fitness and member success
• Flexibility to work class schedules, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
