The Opportunity

As a Part-Time Personal Trainer at Equinox Downtown LA, you'll work in a dynamic, high-performance environment where cutting-edge facilities meet uncompromising service standards. You'll design and lead personalized training programs, help members achieve their fitness goals, and become a trusted part of our community. This role offers flexibility with the structure of a leading luxury fitness brand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and develop customized training programs based on individual member goals, fitness levels, and health considerations
• Deliver engaging, results-driven personal training sessions across our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment
• Educate members on proper exercise technique, form, and progressive training protocols to maximize results and prevent injury
• Build and maintain strong member relationships, fostering accountability and long-term commitment to their fitness journey
• Monitor member progress, adapt programming based on results, and maintain detailed session notes and performance records
• Represent Equinox values of excellence, professionalism, and hospitality with every member interaction

What You Bring

• Current certification from an accredited personal training organization (NASM, ISSA, ACE, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience training diverse populations and fitness levels
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and program design principles
• Excellent communication and motivational skills with proven ability to inspire and support members
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and commitment to delivering exceptional service
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
