Position Summary

We're seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to deliver exceptional one-on-one and small group training experiences at our West Hollywood club. As a Personal Trainer, you'll partner with members to design and execute customized fitness programs that align with their individual goals, preferences, and current fitness levels. This is a full-time position where your expertise, motivational approach, and attention to detail directly impact member success and retention.

What You'll Do

• Conduct initial fitness assessments and body composition analyses to establish baseline metrics and personalized training objectives
• Design and deliver progressive, results-driven training programs across diverse equipment, techniques, and modalities
• Provide real-time form correction, encouragement, and program modifications to ensure member safety and maximize effectiveness
• Educate members on proper exercise technique, recovery strategies, and complementary nutrition principles
• Track member progress through detailed session notes and outcome measurements, adjusting programming as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members to drive satisfaction, renewal, and referrals
• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive community atmosphere that reflects Equinox's commitment to member wellness

Who We're Looking For

• Current certification from an accredited personal training organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NCCPT, or equivalent)
• Proven track record of building and retaining a personal training clientele
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and progressive programming principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse clientele
• Professional presence and commitment to embodying wellness at a luxury fitness brand
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate member schedules
• Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
