Android Developer (2-4 years of exp) – USC and GC’s

Hudson Manpower is hiring an experienced Android Developer for a full-time remote position. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile applications on the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused solutions.

Position Summary

As an Android Developer with 2–4 years of experience, you'll take ownership of application development from concept through deployment. You'll work alongside product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create performant, scalable Android apps that meet user needs and business objectives. This is a full-time role for US-based candidates.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Collaborate with designers, backend teams, QA, and product managers to ship features on schedule
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and feature design sessions
• Build responsive user interfaces based on design specifications
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs into applications
• Manage app releases and ongoing updates through the Google Play Store
• Document code and maintain adherence to software development lifecycle standards
• Monitor emerging Android frameworks and technologies to improve development practices
