We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our Mississauga travel center. In this part-time role, you'll be the friendly face at our point-of-sale, handling transactions smoothly and creating positive interactions that keep customers coming back. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Receive cash, card, and other payment methods with attention to detail and security protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area throughout your shift
- Answer customer questions about products, services, and promotions
- Verify customer identification when required and follow all regulatory compliance procedures
- Balance your cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory visibility when needed
- Represent Pilot Company professionally and courteously at all times
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in cash handling and point-of-sale operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in transactions
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to follow company policies and provide excellent customer service
