What This Role Involves
As a Sandwich Artist at our New Braunfels travel center, you'll be the face of Pilot Company's Subway operation, preparing quality sandwiches and maintaining excellent customer service standards. You'll work directly with diverse customers—from truckers to families—ensuring every order is made correctly, quickly, and with a smile.
What You'll Do
- Prepare fresh Subway sandwiches and other menu items to order specifications
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in the sandwich prep area
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests
- Operate the register and process payments
- Stock ingredients and supplies throughout your shift
- Keep the service counter and prep area clean and organized
- Provide friendly, courteous service to build customer loyalty
Skills & Qualifications
- Customer service experience in retail or food service (preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and food safety awareness
