Coffee Attendant

Pilot Company is hiring a part-time Coffee Attendant at our Salem, OR travel center. In this role, you'll prepare and serve quality beverages to our guests while maintaining our coffee station to the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Position Summary

As a Coffee Attendant, you'll be the face of our beverage service, greeting guests and delivering their favorite drinks with a friendly smile. Working in our busy retail operations, you'll combine speed and attention to detail to keep our coffee station running smoothly throughout your shift. This part-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction and takes satisfaction in keeping a clean, organized workspace in a dynamic, high-traffic environment.

Core Duties

• Brew, prepare, and serve quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, and specialty beverages
• Operate and maintain all coffee equipment, espresso machines, and beverage dispensers
• Stock the beverage station with cups, lids, sleeves, condiments, and supplies
• Keep the coffee bar and surrounding area clean, sanitized, and organized
• Ring up transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Provide friendly customer service and handle guest requests professionally
• Follow all food safety and company operational standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous customer service or retail experience
• Ability to work efficiently during peak times in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
• Reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to learn beverage preparation techniques and product knowledge
