Core Duties

• Prepare endoscopy rooms, equipment, and supplies before each procedure, following strict sterile protocols
• Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and procedure notes in real time
• Handle, label, and manage tissue specimens and samples with accuracy
• Reprocess, clean, and sterilize endoscopes and related instruments according to established procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients to ease anxiety and explain pre- and post-procedure care
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with medical records standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification as an endoscopy technician or equivalent clinical training
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety
