Scheduler – Women’s Health – Gibsonia – Full Time

Position Summary

This full-time role is essential to our Women's Health services in Gibsonia, PA. As a Scheduler, you'll manage appointment calendars, support our healthcare providers, and ensure smooth operations across our women's health clinic. You'll be a key point of contact for patients and a vital member of our care coordination team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments for women's health services
• Manage provider calendars and optimize appointment availability
• Handle patient inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and empathy
• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility prior to appointments
• Process appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling requests
• Maintain accurate and current patient records in our scheduling systems
• Coordinate with clinical staff and departmental teams to support continuity of care
• Apply HIPAA protocols to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with medical scheduling software or electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
• Professional phone manner and clear written communication
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare confidentiality requirements
• Dependable attendance and time management
