About the Role
We're seeking an experienced IT Service Operations Senior Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our IT service operations function. You'll take ownership of service delivery quality, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for building and developing high-performing operations teams whilst maintaining our commitment to service excellence and cost efficiency.
Core Duties
- Lead and develop IT operations teams to deliver responsive, reliable service delivery
- Monitor service level agreements and drive improvements to meet or exceed organisational targets
- Oversee incident and change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Implement process improvements and operational best practices across the IT service function
- Manage IT operations budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively
- Drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational resilience and system reliability
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing IT service operations or similar technology-focused operations environments
- Strong people management and team development skills
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service delivery best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
- Demonstrated experience delivering cost savings and operational improvements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business stakeholders
