Globalhr is recruiting an Assembly Technician for our operations at SG-01-SINGAPORE-018 P3, 18 Bedok S Rd, Singapore. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our assembly team on a full-time basis.
The Opportunity
This Assembly Technician role offers the chance to contribute to the production of quality-assured products whilst developing expertise in precision assembly operations. You'll be part of a manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety are paramount. Based in Bedok, this position provides hands-on technical work in a structured, supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, mechanical parts, and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications
- Perform soldering, crimping, and other joining techniques to secure components with precision
- Conduct in-process quality checks and testing to ensure products meet established standards
- Identify defects or inconsistencies and troubleshoot assembly issues proactively
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality control results
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimise workflow and meet production targets
Who We're Looking For
- Previous assembly experience or demonstrated aptitude for precision manual work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Competence with hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious approach to work responsibilities
- Willingness to work in a production environment with occasional standing and repetitive tasks
