About the Role

As Change & Release Analyst at Hargreaveslansdown, you'll orchestrate the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases into live environments. Your focus will be on managing risk, maintaining service quality, and ensuring smooth transitions from development through production. You'll work closely with teams across technology, operations, and business functions to align release schedules with organisational objectives and minimise disruption to live systems.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and schedule software releases, identifying and managing dependencies across systems
• Track changes and releases through the complete lifecycle using established tools and governance frameworks
• Assess risks associated with releases and implement mitigation strategies to protect service quality
• Communicate release plans, schedules, and progress to stakeholders across technical and business teams
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation of release processes, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to optimise release workflows
• Support rollback procedures and issue resolution during and after release activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a release management, change management, or similar operational analytics role
• Strong organisational and project coordination capabilities
• Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and vice versa
• Familiarity with change control frameworks, ITIL principles, or structured release governance
• Proficiency with ticketing, tracking, and workflow management systems
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to process adherence and documentation standards
