Help build progressive political power in Wisconsin as a Regional/Statewide Organizer with the Working Families Party — a full-time, in-state role for an organizer ready to turn grassroots energy into electoral wins across the Badger State.
About the Role
As a Wisconsin Regional/Statewide Organizer, you will be the on-the-ground engine of the Working Families Party's work throughout Wisconsin. Based in the state, you'll connect with communities, develop volunteer leaders, and drive the campaigns that advance a politics centered on the multiracial working class. This is hands-on organizing work for someone who thrives in the field and believes lasting change is built person by person, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and grassroots leaders across Wisconsin regions and statewide.
- Plan and execute field campaigns that support transformational candidates up and down the ballot.
- Build durable relationships with local organizations, coalition partners, and community members.
- Coordinate canvassing, phone banking, events, and voter outreach to win elections.
- Track organizing goals and report on progress toward measurable campaign targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in community, labor, electoral, or political organizing.
- A genuine commitment to progressive values and to building power for working people.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and lead volunteers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel within Wisconsin.
- Based in or able to relocate to Wisconsin; this is an in-person, full-time position.
