Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital is recruiting a full-time Cook Weekends to join our culinary team and support patient nutrition and recovery through skilled food preparation and service.

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cook Weekends for our kitchen operations at Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital. In this full-time role, you'll prepare and cook meals for patients and staff across weekend service periods, helping us deliver the nutrition and care our community depends on. This is a stable, dedicated weekend position with a committed healthcare organization.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook meals to recipe standards and dietary requirements
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working order
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols
• Coordinate timing with dietary and clinical staff to ensure meals meet patient needs
• Plate and finish dishes to presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen throughout your shifts
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team and kitchen staff
• Adapt quickly to changing patient dietary orders and special requests

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as a cook in a food service or kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary handling
• Ability to manage multiple meal preparation tasks with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with team members and clinical staff
• Physical capability to stand, lift, and move throughout your shift
• Reliability and flexibility within the weekend schedule
• Willingness to follow hospital protocols and continuous improvement practices
