The Opportunity

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a dedicated Part Time Weekend Caregiver to join our care team in the Kaiser, Missouri area. We're committed to supporting patients with personal care, daily living assistance, and compassionate companionship. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed
• Monitor and communicate patient status, concerns, and changes to the care team
• Follow individual care plans and maintain patient comfort and dignity
• Support patients with mobility and transfers safely using proper techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided

Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and personal care tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and respect for patient dignity
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
• Reliability and strong work ethic, especially for weekend availability
• CNA certification preferred; willingness to pursue if not yet certified
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Valid background check and references required
