Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Provide mobility assistance and safe movement support throughout the home
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health status to supervisors
- Follow individualized care plans while respecting client dignity and privacy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physical ability to assist, lift, and safely transfer clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
