About This Position

As a Staff, Programs, Family Peer Advocate, you will serve as a trusted bridge between families and the community resources and services they need. Reporting to the Manager of Programs, you'll work within our clinic-based team to strengthen families and drive measurable improvements in children's social-emotional development. Your role centers on empowering caregivers through genuine, supportive relationships grounded in their own strengths, values, and goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with families using peer-to-peer support approaches that emphasize trust and shared understanding
• Guide families through community service systems and connect them with available resources and supports
• Partner with families to identify priorities, set meaningful goals, and develop personalized support plans
• Collaborate with clinical and program team members to integrate family voice and input into treatment approaches
• Document family engagement activities, progress, and outcomes in compliance with program requirements
• Attend team meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to continuous program improvement

• Personal or professional experience with peer support, family advocacy, or community-based family services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen deeply and without judgment
