Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team and deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care. As a travel RN, you'll apply your clinical expertise in a supportive healthcare environment while providing continuity of care to our residents. This assignment combines the flexibility of travel nursing with the stability of an extended placement.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care in long-term care, including resident assessment, monitoring, and medication administration
- Work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling—day shift (6a–6p) or night shift (6p–6a)
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient observations, vital signs, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
- Maintain safe, therapeutic, and clean patient environments
- Build strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications
- Active RN licensure for New Mexico
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability and comfort in diverse patient care settings
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
