What This Role Involves

As a Client Care Coordinator for Furry Fellas Pet Service, you'll work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment where your organizational skills and communication are essential. Your responsibilities span from scheduling pet care appointments to processing payments and maintaining our client management systems. The schedule varies week to week but is provided a month in advance for planning purposes. Shifts include morning, afternoon, and evening options, and you'll commit to working every other weekend to ensure our clients have coverage during their peak times. You'll also handle occasional holiday check-ins to monitor for any client or staff emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule pet care reservations and coordinate service coverage based on client requests
• Respond to client and staff inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
• Update and maintain accuracy in our client management database and shared systems
• Create and manage invoicing and payment tracking records
• Process incoming payments from credit cards, debit transactions, and PayPal
• Organize and prioritize email communications to ensure no requests are overlooked
• Conduct emergency check-ins during holidays as assigned to monitor client and staff needs

Skills & Qualifications

• Six months to one year of experience working or volunteering with animals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and reliable follow-through on commitments
• Quick learner who adapts easily to new systems and processes
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or relevant professional experience also considered
• Current smartphone (Android or iPhone) for app-based system access
• Modern laptop and high-speed internet connection
• Background in reception, administrative work, or pet service coordination is advantageous
• Veterinary receptionists and pet reservation specialists particularly encouraged to apply
