About the Role
As a National Title Examination Specialist, you're the trusted expert ensuring property titles are clear, accurate, and ready for transaction. Your meticulous review work underpins every real estate deal we handle, providing confidence to lenders, buyers, and investors in their investments.
What You'll Do
- Review national title searches and examination reports for completeness and accuracy
- Identify and document title defects, liens, easements, and other encumbrances affecting property ownership
- Prepare and analyze title commitments, policies, and underwriting requirements
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to resolve title issues and clear transactions for closing
- Support title insurance policy issuance for residential and commercial properties
- Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Maintain organized, detailed records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes
- Apply industry standards and regulatory requirements to all examinations and clearance work
What We're Looking For
- Experience in title examination, title search analysis, or title insurance underwriting
- Detail-oriented approach to document review and problem identification
- Understanding of real estate transactions and title clearance procedures
- Knowledge of title insurance products and ALTA standards
- Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional coordination
