About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Bealls Inc., you'll play a critical role in supporting store operations and ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless shopping experience. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain high standards of merchandising and store presentation, and foster a positive team environment where every employee can succeed.

What You'll Do

• Support daily store operations and maintain compliance with company standards and procedures
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members through training, feedback, and mentorship
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliation, and inventory management
• Ensure accurate visual merchandising and product presentation throughout the store
• Assist with staff scheduling, hiring, and performance management
• Monitor sales performance and work toward store goals and targets
• Open and close the store, ensuring security and proper procedures are followed
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills

What We're Looking For

• Proven retail management experience or demonstrated readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and coach others
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail operations software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Passion for customer service and delivering results
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail management experience preferred
