Vylla Title is hiring a full-time National Title Examination Specialist to work remotely from Holiday, Orange County. In this role, you'll review title searches and guide underwriting decisions to ensure clear property ownership and smooth real estate transactions.

About the Role

As a National Title Examination Specialist at Vylla Title, you'll be the expert ensuring that every title transfer is sound and insurable. You'll examine title documents and search results, identify potential issues or gaps in ownership records, and coordinate the steps needed to resolve them. Your work directly impacts whether purchases, refinances, and equity transactions close on time and protect all parties involved.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of national title searches and examination reports
• Identify title defects, liens, encumbrances, or ownership gaps that require resolution
• Guide the title clearance process to resolve identified issues
• Coordinate with underwriting teams to ensure all requirements are met before title insurance issuance
• Support purchase, refinance, and equity transactions from title perspective
• Communicate findings and next steps clearly to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the examination process
• Stay current with title industry standards and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in the title insurance, real estate, or closely related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in document review
• Thorough knowledge of title searches, underwriting requirements, and title insurance basics
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and external partners
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with title software and standard office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent
