REMOTE National Title Examination Specialist, Vylla

Vylla Title is looking for a National Title Examination Specialist to join our remote team supporting operations across Atlanta, Fulton County and beyond. In this full-time position, you'll analyze title searches, resolve ownership issues, and ensure clear property titles for real estate transactions ranging from home purchases to cash-out refinances.

What This Role Involves

As a National Title Examination Specialist, you will review and assess title search reports to identify potential issues that could affect property ownership or mortgageability. You'll work through complex underwriting scenarios, determine whether titles can be cleared or insured, and coordinate closings across residential and commercial transactions. This is analytical work where precision and judgment matter—your review directly impacts whether a deal moves forward or requires additional steps to resolve title defects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed examinations of national title search reports and commitment documents
• Identify liens, encumbrances, and other defects that could impair clear title
• Perform underwriting analysis and determine title clearance requirements for purchase, refinance, and home equity transactions
• Prepare clear title determinations and coordinate remediation of title issues
• Communicate findings and next steps to internal teams and external partners
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with title insurance guidelines and state regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in title examination, title insurance, or real estate underwriting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in legal documents
• Knowledge of real property law, liens, and title insurance products
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with title software platforms and Microsoft Office applications
