Core One

Core One is seeking a Program Manager to lead critical national security programs at our Tampa, FL headquarters. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage complex defense initiatives, coordinate across government and contractor stakeholders, and drive delivery of mission-critical results.

About the Role

As our Program Manager, you'll bridge government customers and our delivery teams to ensure seamless program execution. You'll oversee technical progress, financial performance, and operational delivery—maintaining alignment with customer objectives and contractual obligations. This leadership role demands deep expertise in defense operations, proven success managing large-scale government programs, and the ability to communicate strategic insights to senior military and intelligence leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead integrated program coordination across all functions, ensuring synchronized execution and on-schedule delivery.
  • Serve as principal customer interface, managing escalations and negotiating program adjustments to timeline, budget, or scope.
  • Develop and present monthly status reviews to government leadership, detailing performance metrics, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, and technical performance data to identify variances and drive corrective action plans.
  • Ensure all program activities align with national security priorities and evolving operational requirements.
  • Oversee budget execution and provide financial reporting to government stakeholders.
  • Manage personnel oversight and logistics, including travel processing and resource allocation across the program.

What We're Looking For

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with willingness to pursue polygraph examination.
  • Master's degree in Business Management or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including at least 12 years supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) or interagency defense units.
  • Demonstrated success leading or managing programs within USSOCOM or comparable defense enterprises.
  • Proven track record supervising personnel, executing projects on budget and schedule, and supporting workforce growth.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent credential.
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel and technical expertise to senior defense officials and policy leaders.
