About This Role

We are representing a fast-growing marketing consultancy in Düsseldorf that specializes in email campaign strategy for e-commerce clients. They produce hundreds of campaigns monthly across a portfolio of over 30 retail brands, and they need a copywriter who can own the entire newsletter—from concept and copy through to visual assembly in Figma.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Düsseldorf. You'll work closely with a young, ambitious team and see your work go live to real audiences every single day.

Responsibilities

• Write subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action for sale announcements, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns across 30–40 e-commerce brands
• Review client briefs, structure the email layout, and adapt tone to match each brand's voice
• Assemble newsletters in Figma using a modular design system, adjusting imagery and layout blocks as needed
• Use AI tools to assist with asset creation and copy iteration
• Submit finished campaigns for client approval and coordinate deployment
• Track performance metrics and apply learnings to future sends

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional written German; you write copy that converts, not just copy that reads well
• Strong aesthetic sense and confidence working in a visual design tool (Figma experience is a plus but not required)
• Very fast learner—you pick up new platforms and workflows in days, not weeks
• High energy and ownership mentality; you want to be responsible for the entire deliverable, not just one piece of it
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, image generators) as part of your daily workflow
• Willingness to work 100% on-site in Düsseldorf with the core team
• Ambition and openness to feedback; you improve with every brief

You do not need prior newsletter, Figma, or formal design training. Speed, taste, and drive matter most—our client will train the rest.

Pay

Our client offers €3,500–6,000 per month, depending on experience. This is a permanent-track hire; the goal of every onboarding is conversion to an unlimited contract.
