Senior Manager, FP&A

Responsibilities

We are representing a global financial technology organization seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to own the financial planning and analysis function for a fast-growing business operating across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. Reporting to senior leadership, you will establish and execute the planning calendar, forecasting methodology, and management reporting cadence with minimal direction.

You will be accountable for the annual budget, re-forecast cycles, and the management reporting that drives executive decision-making. As the primary analytical partner to functional leaders across Sales, Revenue Operations, and People teams, you will translate operating plans, pipeline data, and headcount strategies into controlled financial outputs and provide actionable performance analysis.

This role owns the integrity of the company's planning models and leads the FP&A team, ensuring output quality, scalability, and the adoption of AI-enabled workflows to make each planning cycle faster, more accurate, and better controlled.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the FP&A team by establishing model ownership, planning calendars, review controls, documentation, and data flows to ensure consistent quality as the function scales
• Owning the annual budget and re-forecast process end-to-end, working with functional leaders to build controlled pipeline-to-revenue bridges, personnel and non-personnel budgets, commission forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
• Building and maintaining operating plan, forecast, cash-flow, scenario, and acquisition-integration models that preserve deal assumptions and reconcile to actuals
• Driving management reporting cycles and preparing financial analysis for board and investor materials, translating variance-to-plan into operational drivers and forecast implications
• Implementing automation and AI-enabled workflows across data collection, plan consolidation, variance analysis, and report production to reduce cycle time and error rates

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a finance professional with deep expertise in FP&A for high-growth technology or financial services businesses operating in complex, multi-entity environments.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Expert knowledge of driver-based forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and financial model architecture that remains auditable and scalable through organic growth and acquisitions
• Strong understanding of revenue models including bookings, recurring revenue, renewals, pipeline conversion, revenue recognition timing, and commission plan mechanics
• Comprehensive knowledge of personnel planning and costing, operating expenses, capital expenditure, cost allocation, and multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction cash-flow forecasting
• Proven ability to design KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and produce management reporting and board materials that enable leadership planning decisions
• Experience with FP&A systems, data flows from finance/CRM/HR platforms, workflow automation, and AI-enabled analysis tools
• Demonstrated leadership of FP&A teams, including hiring, coaching, and designing operating models that scale
• Experience supporting businesses generating $50M+ in revenue with growth trajectories toward $200M+
• Background in SaaS, fintech, or financial services strongly preferred

This is a hybrid role based in London requiring on-site presence approximately one day per week.
