SEO Expert (Multi-Client Agency, WordPress + Webflow)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that manages website projects for small and mid-sized business clients across multiple industries. They need a strategic SEO expert who can own search optimization across their entire client portfolio—someone who thrives on variety and can shift between platforms, industries, and technical challenges without missing a beat.

This is a remote, full-time position based in the Philippines, working U.S. business hours (Pacific or Central time zone), Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

You will serve as the agency's dedicated SEO authority across a diverse portfolio of client websites built on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and other platforms. Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting technical SEO audits and resolving crawl errors, indexing issues, redirects, site architecture problems, and Core Web Vitals across multiple platforms
• Implementing platform-specific SEO on WordPress (using tools like Yoast or RankMath) and Webflow (CMS collections, custom code embeds, SEO settings)
• Performing keyword research and search intent mapping for clients in varying industries
• Optimizing on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and content
• Managing local SEO for service-based clients: Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and location page development
• Creating content strategies, briefs, and editorial calendars for content teams to execute
• Developing and executing link building and digital PR outreach campaigns
• Managing SEO migration checklists for new website launches to preserve rankings
• Building and presenting monthly reports using Google Search Console, GA4, and tools like Ahrefs or Semrush
• Advising account managers on SEO priorities and next steps for each client

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency managing multiple concurrent client accounts
• Demonstrable results with documentation (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush screenshots)
• Real implementation experience with both WordPress and Webflow—you've built or optimized live sites on each platform
• Strong technical SEO foundation: ability to read crawl reports, diagnose indexing issues, and implement fixes independently
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and ability to implement schema markup and technical fixes without developer support
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and either Ahrefs or Semrush
• Excellent written and spoken English for direct communication with the U.S. team and occasional client interaction
• Availability to work U.S. business hours consistently with reliable internet and backup power
• Strong organizational skills to manage 10+ client accounts simultaneously and track deliverables independently

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, or similar website platforms
• E-commerce SEO experience including product pages, collection pages, and faceted navigation
• Knowledge of AI search and generative engine optimization (AI Overviews, ChatGPT search visibility)
• Experience with Google Ads or Local Service Ads
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization and landing page best practices

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $1,500–$2,200 USD per month, full-time, long-term engagement paid in USD. This placement also includes health benefits after 90 days and performance bonuses.
