Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Engineering

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential legal technology organization experiencing extraordinary growth. They've scaled from a small team to hundreds of employees while expanding across multiple continents. We're seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to own engineering recruitment in the UK and Ireland, working directly with senior leadership to build exceptional technical teams.

This role goes beyond traditional recruiting. You'll help define hiring standards, shape talent processes, and play a strategic role in how this organization scales its engineering function during a critical growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for engineering roles across UK & Ireland, partnering with hiring managers to define requirements, success profiles, and hiring strategies
• Build proactive talent pipelines for critical technical roles, staying ahead of hiring needs rather than reacting to demand
• Run structured, data-driven hiring processes that balance quality, speed, and consistency while maintaining high standards
• Contribute to talent operations beyond individual searches, including process design, programs, tooling, and broader people initiatives
• Deliver exceptional candidate experiences from first contact through offer, serving as a credible ambassador throughout the process
• Partner with senior stakeholders on hiring strategy and team composition, shaping briefs rather than simply executing them

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in talent acquisition within high-growth environments such as startups, scaleups, or VC-backed companies
• Proven track record hiring high-performing engineering talent across multiple seniority levels
• Ability to hold credible technical conversations with engineering leaders and distinguish between impressive CVs and genuinely strong hires
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders on hiring strategy, influencing and challenging when necessary
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex technical searches simultaneously without compromising quality or pace
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with a bias toward action, building structure where none exists
• Direct communication style with strong collaborative skills and the ability to drive decisions rather than defer them
• Commitment to maintaining high hiring standards even when searches become challenging
