Sales Support Specialist (6 Month FTC)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a rapidly growing global technology company in their search for a Sales Support Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis in London. Our client operates in the AI and software sector, serving hundreds of thousands of business customers worldwide.

This is a critical support role for a sales organization of over 250 professionals. You'll be the go-to person when deals need unblocking, ensuring the sales team can focus on what they do best while you handle the operational complexities behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to the Sales Operations support channel for your region, maintaining quick response times and keeping requests moving
• Own each support request from start to finish—diagnose issues, resolve what you can directly, and coordinate with Operations, Salesforce Administration, or Finance teams when needed
• Guide sales professionals through CRM processes including opportunities, quotes, accounts, and sales workflows
• Identify and resolve data quality issues that could delay or block deals
• Create straightforward documentation and self-service guides to reduce repeat questions
• Track recurring problems and escalate systemic issues to prevent future occurrences
• Provide extended support during quarter-end and year-end closing periods, including availability until 11pm UK time on final deal days (first occurrence will be 31 December year-end)

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, revenue operations, or CRM administration
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms, with understanding of sales process mechanics
• Service-oriented approach with the ability to solve problems while teaching others to be self-sufficient
• Strong ownership mentality—when you take on an issue, you see it through to resolution
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent conversations in Slack or similar platforms while maintaining composure during high-volume periods
• Sharp attention to detail, particularly regarding data accuracy that impacts revenue
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to explain technical processes clearly
• Based in the UK with ability to work from the London office approximately two days per week
• Flexibility to work extended hours during quarter-end and year-end periods
• Exposure to billing systems such as ChargeBee, Zuora, or similar platforms and their CRM integrations is advantageous
